I use what I like to call a “tailored” or “bespoke” approach to treating and diagnosing clients. There are many conditions that have overlapping symptoms and there may be various reasons for the root cause of these symptoms (i.e. organic, environment, situational, etc). It is very important to take the time to figure out these reasons so we can develop plans to move towards accomplishing your treatment goals.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked in various settings including crisis/emergency psychiatry, inpatient mental health, outpatient community mental health, collaborative care, consultation-liaison, and outpatient private practice.
I attended RPI and earned my BS in Industrial & Management Engineering. I was able to attend RPI on a US Navy ROTC Scholarship. After graduation, I was commissioned an Ensign in the US Navy. Soon thereafter, the tragic attacks of 9/11 happened and I left on an extended deployment to the Middle East with my ARG (Amphibious Ready Group).
After I finished my tour on the USS Shreveport, LPD-12. I returned stateside to attend Naval Nuclear Power School and Prototype training. I learned how to run and operate all aspects of a naval nuclear power plant. I joined the crew of the USS Harry S Truman, CVN-75 and spent over 2 years as part of the crew. We deployed to the Middle East in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. I was able to also earn my Masters Degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University while onboard.
After I completed my military commitment, I was honorably discharged and spent the next 5 years working in corporate America. When I was at GE Power Systems, I worked in generator manufacturing, but crossed the barrier into human resources, recruiting, and labor relations.
